Volunteer Open House at Central Gardens
Discover how you can be part of something special at Central Gardens! Join us for a relaxed and welcoming afternoon with refreshments, conversation, and a chance to explore the many ways to get involved.
This is a come-and-go event, taking place from 2–4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd. At 2:30 p.m., Central Gardens Board President Doug Marty will share a brief overview of the Gardens and the many ways you can get involved.
Whether you enjoy working with your hands, connecting with people, or sharing your creativity, there’s a place for you here. Learn about our volunteer opportunities, including:
- Marketing – Help share the story of Central Gardens and promote events and programs
- Events – Support planning, logistics, and behind-the-scenes efforts, or serve on the Events Committee
- Gardens – Get “down & dirty” with our Tuesday evening / Wednesday morning garden group or adopt one of our 20+ themed gardens to help care for throughout the season
- Youth Programs – Inspire the next generation through programs like Gardeners of Tomorrow, Fresh on Fridays, and school visits
- Entertainment & Classes – Share your talents by hosting a class, leading a workshop, or helping with music and guest programming
- Signature & Seasonal Events – Lend a hand at favorites like the Summer Garden Party, Pumpkin Palooza, and Fresh on Fridays
- Winter in the Gardens – Help us grow new ideas for off-season events and holiday programming
