About Us
Central Gardens of North Iowa, Inc. is the only free, public garden in a 90-mile radius of Clear Lake and is a major tourist attraction in north Iowa. Nearly three acres and 20+ themed gardens provide serenity and beauty for over 18,000 guests who visit each year. The splendor of the grounds and the vibrancy of the programming offered almost exclusively at no cost to participants provide a wonderful place to escape for some quiet time, meet friends for lunch, celebrate the wonders of natures and our changing seasons, host a wedding or other special celebration or participate in our 40+ annual events.

As a non-profit charitable organization that is 90% run and operated by volunteers, Central Gardens relies on the following seven revenue sources to maintain operations: Events, rentals, memberships, donations and memorials, brick sales, interest from investments, and grants.
